Independent Goods Inspection – Wood & Construction Technology Expertise

I provide impartial, technically grounded goods inspections that help resolve unclear situations, support decision‑making, and bring confidence to consumers, companies, and housing cooperatives. My work is supervised by the Finland Chamber of Commerce, ensuring reliability and neutrality in every inspection.

My core expertise is wood — as a material, structure, and product. This makes my services especially valuable whenever the subject involves wood‑based structures, products, or workmanship.

Why choose a goods inspection?

A professional inspection is the right choice when you need:

an unbiased assessment of defects, damages, or workmanship

confirmation that work complies with good building practice

a documented statement for complaints or disputes

evaluation of the suitability and quality of materials or structures

a technical viewpoint that helps all parties reach a shared understanding

prevent additional costs and delays by obtaining a fact based assessment in time

Anyone can order an inspection — private individuals, companies, housing cooperatives, authorities, or construction firms.

How the inspection process works

1. Defining the assignment

We agree on the scope, target, and content of the inspection.

2. Invitations to all parties

All parties are invited at least one week before the inspection.

3. On site inspection

I assess the condition, defects, damages, causes, and workmanship quality.

4. Measurements & documentation

If needed, I perform measurements, structural openings, and use external laboratory or material analyses.

5. Written statement

You receive a clear, well reasoned, and impartial report — a strong document for complaints or legal situations.

My approved inspection categories

Quality, dimensional accuracy, joints, moisture performance, and deviations from plans or good building practice.

Installation, ventilation, surface treatment, damages, and long‑term durability.

Installation quality, tightness, functionality, and material performance.

Paneling, mouldings, interior cladding, finish quality, and installation errors.

Structure, installation, functionality, and contractual conformity of fixed and wooden furniture.

Material quality, moisture content, storage, damages, and suitability — especially useful in delivery disputes.

Sawn timber, planed timber, glulam, LVL, and other wood products — dimensional accuracy, surface treatment, structural integrity.

Stairs, railings, doors, windows, and other joinery items — quality, finish, and compliance with specifications.
